Tom Hovey is an Illustrator and the founder of Studio Hovey.
He is based in Newport, South Wales.
Tom’s multi-disciplinary approach has seen him apply his unique style across a broad spectrum of genres including TV graphics, food illustration, editorial, book illustration, storyboarding, animation, apparel design and murals.
Tom is best known for his acclaimed food illustration work. He has produced the illustrated graphics for The Great British Bake Off since it's inception in 2010. His signature style has been a key element to the show's success becoming the most watched TV series in the UK in 2015 and 2016. Tom and his team have produced over 4,000 illustrated bakes for the GBBO series’ over the past 15 years and counting.
Tom was awarded an Honorary Master of Arts Degree by the Arts University Bournemouth in 2021.
Tom was part of the judging panel for the Design Week Awards 2021.
